How to Change a Headlight Bulb: From Bulb Type to Installation

    1. Check the Owner’s Manual
      1. Find correct bulb type and replacement process
    2. Identify Bulb Type
      1. Halogen - Widely available but shorter lifespan
      2. LED - Long lasting and energy efficient 
      3. HID - Provide bright, white light
    3. Gather Tools
      1. Gloves
      2. Screwdriver
      3. Replacement bulbs
    4. Access Headlight Assembly
      1. Access through engine bay or headlight housing depending on the car type
    5. Remove the Old Bulb
      1. Locate bulb and twist counterclockwise
      2. Remove gently to prevent breakage in the socket
    6. Install New Bulb
      1. Handle with care using gloves
      2. Twist clockwise to tighten
    7. Test New Bulb
      1. Turn on headlights to ensure it works properly
    8. Reassemble  Headlight Housing
      1. If accessed through headlight housing, reassemble and secure with screws.

      3. Adjust height and direction using a screwdriver in the headlight assembly
    3. Difficulty Removing Bulb
      1. Use needle-nose pliers to gently wiggle nose of bulb.
      2. Use small amount of ROGO 4-Way Penetrant to loosen around the base
