How to Change a Headlight Bulb: From Bulb Type to Installation

- Gather Tools
- Gloves
- Screwdriver
- Replacement bulbs
- Access Headlight Assembly
- Access through engine bay or headlight housing depending on the car type
- Remove the Old Bulb
- Locate bulb and twist counterclockwise
- Remove gently to prevent breakage in the socket
- Install New Bulb
- Handle with care using gloves
- Twist clockwise to tighten
- Test New Bulb
- Turn on headlights to ensure it works properly
- Reassemble Headlight Housing
- If accessed through headlight housing, reassemble and secure with screws.

- Bulb Doesn’t Light Up
- Troubleshoot by checking bulb is locked in socket properly
- Check for damaged wiring

- Park vehicle on level surface and turn on headlights

- Use needle-nose pliers to gently wiggle nose of bulb.
- Use small amount of ROGO 4-Way Penetrant to loosen around the base
