This M8-1.25 extruded U-nut creates a secure metric threaded attachment point on sheet metal without requiring access to the back of the mounting panel. Its spring-style U-shaped design clips over the panel edge and aligns the threaded opening with the mounting hole for efficient automotive assembly and repair.
Finished with a phosphate coating, this extruded U-nut fits panel thicknesses from 0.80mm to 4.50mm and features a 20mm center-of-hole-to-edge measurement. It is designed for compatible GM and Ford automotive fastening applications and replaces GM OEM numbers 11500661 and 11503317 and Ford OEM numbers N623343-S2 and S100.
