This Pollak battery master disconnect switch provides lever-operated On and Off control for compatible 6- to 36-volt DC battery circuits. It is designed to help protect against battery drain, electrical fires, tampering, and theft, with a continuous capacity of 180 amps and an in-rush capacity of 1,000 amps.
The single-pole, single-throw switch features two 3/8-inch copper-alloy stud terminals, individually sealed contacts, and a one-piece die-cast housing sealed with O-rings at the base and mounting stem. It is intended for battery circuits only and does not disconnect an alternator or generator field circuit.
