This steel metric extruded U-nut is designed for GM automotive mounting applications requiring an M6-1.0 threaded attachment point at the edge of a panel. Genuine GM applications include windshield washer reservoir, fuel filler pipe bracket and other component mounting locations.
The U-nut accommodates panel thicknesses from 2.0mm to 5.0mm and positions the center of the threaded hole 14.5mm from the panel edge. It features a phosphate zinc-organic finish and cross-references GM OEM number 11516372.
