for automotive and low-voltage control circuits. Glass & Ceramic
fuses both provide overcurrent preotection; Ceramic is best for
high-current circuits found in AC or DC electronic equipment and have a
higher interrupting rating to withstand higher temperatures. Glass is
best for low-current circuits and are typically used for applications
where they won't be exposed to higher heat.
