This 3/8-16 USS Grip-Sert Nutsert provides clean, load-bearing Class 2B steel threads in casting, fiberglass, fiberboard, plastic, wood, and other ductile material more than .030 inch thick. Its compact anchor-nut design supports high-speed installation in blind, open, buried, and through-hole applications.
The taper-lock principle helps prevent spinning and twisting while allowing installation in flat or curved surfaces. The cadmium-plated mild-steel insert installs in seconds with a simple hand tool, requires no finishing, avoids marring the parent material, and becomes self-tightening with repeated use.
