This zinc-plated steel hex washer thread-cutting nut is designed for 1/4" stud fastening applications in automotive body, trim and general repair work. The thread-cutting design forms its mating threads as the nut is installed, making it suitable for compatible unthreaded or partially threaded studs.
The nut fits a 1/4" stud and features a 7/16" hex for wrench or socket installation with a 19/32" integrated washer diameter. Its steel construction is finished with zinc and the hex washer design combines the driving surface and bearing flange in one fastener.
