This 10-32 SAE Thin Sheet Nutsert provides permanent threaded attachment in thin materials that cannot reliably support tapped threads. The insert installs from one side and has proven performance in plastic, aluminum, mild steel, and fiberglass.
Its 1010 low-carbon steel construction is zinc plated with a clear chromate finish. Tool installation collapses the insert wall outward against the sheet, producing a high-strength connection that resists pull-out, rotation, vibration, and loosening.
