This 10-24 USS Thin Sheet Nutsert creates secure internal threads in thin material that may not support conventional tapping. It installs from one accessible side and is proven for use in plastic, aluminum, mild steel, and fiberglass.
The 1010 low-carbon steel construction features zinc plating with a clear chromate finish. When installed, the insert wall collapses outward to clinch against the sheet, providing high pull-out strength and resistance to rotation, vibration, and loosening.
