These Yellow Zinc plated Steel 1/4" (9/32" I.D.) MC2 (Mil-Carb) Grade 8 Flat Washers are fabricated from prime quality medium carbon steel and through hardened (quenched and tempered) R/C 38-45 to improve strength. The zinc & gold dichromate plating provides resistance to corrosion, resulting in a long lived, reliable washer. Designed for use with high-strength hardened steel bolts for various heavy-duty applications including machinery construction, maintenance work, assembly, and construction work.
